These Terms & Conditions explain the basis on which you can purchase products from Tiddles & Co. through our website.
Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. About Tiddles & Co
Tiddles & Co. is a UK-based independent business specialising in personalised celebration products, cake toppers, edible cake decorations, craft supplies and bespoke designs.

2. Products & Personalisation
We make every effort to describe and display our products accurately. As many Tiddles & Co. products are handmade, made to order or personalised, minor variations in colour, positioning, finish or appearance may occur.
Product colours can also appear slightly different on different screens and devices.
Where a product is personalised, you are responsible for providing the correct names, ages, dates, wording, colours and other requested information. Please check these details carefully before placing your order.
We will produce personalised items using the information you provide. If you notice an error after ordering, please contact us as soon as possible. If production has not started, we will do our best to make the change, but we cannot guarantee that changes will be possible once production has begun.
Where appropriate, bespoke designs may be provided as a digital mock-up for approval. Please check any mock-up carefully before approving it, particularly spelling, names, dates, numbers and other personalised details.
3. Prices, Payment & Placing an Order
All prices shown on our website are in pounds sterling (£). Any applicable delivery charges will be shown before you complete your order.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, for example if a product is unavailable, we cannot fulfil the personalisation requested, or there has been an obvious pricing or product information error.
If we are unable to accept an order after payment has been taken, we will contact you and refund the amount paid for the affected item or order.
If we discover an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before fulfilling the affected item. You may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel that item for a refund.
4. Production & Dispatch
Many Tiddles & Co. products are made or personalised to order. We aim to prepare and dispatch most orders within 2 working days, Monday to Friday.
More complex, personalised or bespoke products may occasionally require additional production time.
If you need an order for a particular celebration or event date, please contact us before ordering if time is limited. We will tell you what is realistically possible, but we cannot guarantee delivery by a particular date unless this has been expressly agreed with you.
Production and dispatch times are separate from the time taken by the delivery service to deliver your order.
5. Delivery
We currently offer UK delivery using Royal Mail.
Our current standard delivery options are:
Royal Mail 2nd Class — £1.75
Royal Mail 1st Class — £3.50
FREE UK delivery on orders over £20
Delivery times provided by Royal Mail are estimates and begin after your order has been dispatched. Postal delays can occasionally occur and may be outside our control.
Please ensure that the delivery address supplied with your order is complete and correct. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot normally change its delivery address.

6. Cancellations, Returns & Personalised Products
If you purchase an eligible standard, non-personalised product online, you normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days beginning the day after you receive the goods, subject to the applicable consumer legislation.
Products that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised are generally excluded from the usual change-of-mind cancellation right. Once production of a personalised or bespoke item has begun, it cannot normally be cancelled or returned simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or we have made an error with your order.

7. Edible Products
Some Tiddles & Co. products are intended for use as edible cake decorations. Ingredients and allergen information will be provided with the product or made available in the relevant product information.
Please check all ingredient and allergen information before use, particularly when the product is intended for someone with a food allergy, intolerance or specific dietary requirement.
Edible products should be stored and used in accordance with the instructions supplied. Exposure to moisture, heat, direct sunlight or unsuitable storage conditions may affect their appearance or performance.
Please ensure that edible decorations are suitable for your intended use before applying them to food.
8. Acrylic, Wooden & Non-Edible Cake Toppers
Acrylic, wooden, card and other non-edible cake toppers or decorations are not intended to be eaten.
Where a topper or decoration is designed to be inserted into a cake, only the intended support or stem should be placed into the cake. The product should be positioned securely and kept away from naked flames, candles and excessive heat.
Non-edible toppers, supports and decorations should be removed from the cake before cutting, serving or eating.
Please supervise children around cake toppers and small decorative components, as some items may contain small parts or have pointed stems and are not toys.
Any care or usage instructions supplied with the product should be followed.
9. Bespoke Designs & Customer-Supplied Content
If you provide photographs, artwork, logos, wording or other material for us to use in a personalised or bespoke product, you are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use and reproduce that material.
We may refuse a design request where we reasonably believe the supplied material cannot lawfully or appropriately be reproduced.
Any mock-up supplied for approval should be checked carefully before you approve production. This includes spelling, names, dates, ages, colours and the overall design.
Unless otherwise agreed, designs, layouts and artwork created by Tiddles & Co. remain our intellectual property. Purchasing a finished product does not automatically transfer ownership of the underlying design or artwork.
10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Orders
We carefully check and package orders before dispatch. If an item arrives damaged, is faulty, is not as described or we have supplied the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may ask you to provide your order details and clear photographs of the item and packaging. This helps us understand what has happened and resolve the problem quickly.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, an appropriate remedy may include a repair, replacement or refund.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods.
11. Our Responsibility to You
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the contract was formed.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
Products purchased from Tiddles & Co. are supplied for normal personal and domestic use unless otherwise agreed.
12. Events Outside Our Control
Occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect our ability to produce, dispatch or deliver an order. These could include postal disruption, severe weather, transport problems, supply shortages or failures of services we reasonably rely upon.
If this happens, we’ll take reasonable steps to minimise the effect on your order and will contact you where appropriate.
We will not be responsible for delays caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, but this does not affect any rights you have under consumer law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our products, services, website or applicable law.
The Terms & Conditions that apply to your order will normally be those in force when you place your order.
The date at the top of this page shows when these terms were last updated.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and any contract between you and Tiddles & Co. are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also benefit from mandatory rights and protections under the law that applies where you live.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights that apply to you as a consumer.
